Feb 15, 2007 - Chiquita Productions has submitted a 5 minute teaser of the short film “Breakfast on Catalina” to enter Bradley Bennett for consideration in the unscripted drama “On The Lot” to air on Fox in the spring of 2007.  For this show, 16 aspiring directors will be chosen to compete each week by making a short film and having it critiqued by industry experts followed by a public vote to eliminate a contestant.

Feb 1, 2007 - The short film “Breakfast on Catalina” is in the final stages of post-production and is expected to be released May 12, 2007.  Check back for an announcement for the premier showing and party.

May 12, 2007 - 5 Pictures in association with Chiquita Productions and Dingfish Entertainment debuted the 30 minute digital short “Breakfast on Catalina” on May 12, 2007 to an enthusiastic full house at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art Mary Craig Auditorium. See the photos.

Sept 20, 2007 - Work has just been completed on a 30 second commercial spot for Doctor of Chiropractic - Kara Gochnour.  Look for it on local Santa Barbara Cox stations starting Nov 4, 2007.

January 27, 2008 - “Breakfast on Catalina has been selected to make its film festival debut at the 2008 San Luis Obispo Film Festival in March.  The newly revised 18 minute version of the film created by Chris Sloan and Bradley Bennett in association with Chiquita Productions and Dingfish Entertainment will be screened as part of the Central Coast Filmmakers Showcase and will be in competition for the Best Short Film award.  The film will be screened at the Palm Theater, 817 Palm St, on Monday, March 10 at 7:00 PM.  The festival dates are March 7-16, 2008. 

Silvergreens restaurant - features Nutricate receipt

March, 2009 - Chiquita Productions recently completed a TV commercial spot for Silvergreens restaurant in Santa Barbara, CA which features Ben Gleib and Brooke Lenzi.  The commercial is now airing and will through 2009/10.  Silvergreens is a fast casual restaurant specializing in healthy alternative menu  selections.  They also feature the innovative “nutritional receipt” where you can see your nutrition information and other informative facts and fun games directly on your guest receipt (http://nutricate.com).   Watch it.  

Jul 1, 2009 - Chiquita Productions recently completed an entry for the the GoToMeeting call for commercial submissions sponsored by Citrix Online.  This 60 second commercial features local actors Deborah Cristobal, Todd Bogdon, Lesley Wood, Roberto Aguilar, and Curran and Aidan Dhillon.  The contest finalists will be announced on July 15 with the final award announced in August.

October, 2009 - An updated trailer for the film Breakfast on Catalina has been released and is now available on the film’s updated listing on IMDB.    Watch it!

February 27, 2010 - Chiquita Productions in association with Tricycle Flicks has completed production for the new 10 minute short film written and directed by Garrett Swann ‘The Plot’.  Bradley Bennett of Chiquita Productions is the Director of Photography on the film as well as overseeing post production service. Watch for the finished film this summer!
